Crown Forged B2B Policies

To ensure smooth service, please review these policies before submitting work. My goal is to support your store with precision, care, and reliability while setting clear expectations around pricing, shipping, insurance, and turnaround times.

    • Crown Forged pricing is public within the trade and based on the Geller Blue Book as a guide. Please review my pricing list.

    • Work is typically billed at 40–50% of standard retail rates, depending on complexity.

    • Custom jobs are quoted individually.

    • Rush Fees: Rush jobs may be available upon request and are subject to an additional fee.

    • Prices may change with precious metal market fluctuations; notice will be sent by email (and phone when possible).

    • Firm estimates require in-hand inspection.

    • Photos via text/email may be reviewed to determine if a piece is worth shipping, but no pricing guarantees will be given without inspection.

    • Label Required: Fracture-filled, treated/enhanced, and synthetic stones must be noted on job envelopes.

    • Condition Notes: Please mark any chips, cracks, worn areas, or missing stones.

    • Limitations of Liability:

      • Not responsible for breakage of soft, treated, or fragile stones supplied by Jewelry Store.

      • Stones with inclusions, feathers, chips, or other weaknesses may fracture during setting or repair.

      • Breakage from hardness variations, surface-reaching inclusions, or internal flaws is not CrownForged’s responsibility.

    • Stones Supplied by CrownForged: Stones I provide and set as part of a repair or custom job are covered under my responsibility, unless stated otherwise.

    • Customer Communication: Stores must inform their customers of these risks before sending work.

    • Pricing assumes Crown Forged retains scrap metal.

    • Scrap return available upon request with an additional fee.

    • All job envelopes must list a declared value.

    • Jewelry Store’s jeweler’s block policy provides primary coverage in transit and while in my possession.

    • Crown Forged carries Jewelers Mutual insurance as secondary coverage while items are in my possession.

    • Not responsible for pre-existing issues, undisclosed damage, or normal wear.

    • Ship Monday–Thursday to avoid weekend delays.

    • Jewelry Store covers all inbound/outbound shipping, including insurance and signature requirements.

    • A pre-paid, fully insured return label must be provided with jobs.

    • I provide secure packaging for return shipments — no empty boxes are needed.

    • Each job must include clear written instructions (stone sizes, engraving, CAD details, etc.).

    • For customs, work will not proceed without written approvals (design, CAD, wax, etc.). Delays in approvals extend turnaround times.

    • Repairs: 1–2 weeks (most within 1).

    • Customs: 4–6 weeks, depending on complexity and approvals.

    • Rush Jobs: May be available upon request, subject to approval and additional fee.

    • Turnaround begins once I receive the job with complete instructions, materials, and required approvals.

    • Crown Forged does not work on watches, invisible settings, costume jewelry, or offer gold plating.

    • Laser engraving and inside ring engraving are not currently offered but may be available in the future.

    • Laser welding work (when required for a job) will extend turnaround time by approximately 1–2 weeks. Its rarely needed.

    • All designs, pricing, and customer information are kept strictly confidential.

    • Crown Forged does not share or reproduce designs without written permission.

    • Media Use: Any photos or videos of work for marketing or training require the Jewelry Store’s written consent.

    • Invoices are issued through QuickBooks.

    • Payment is due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.

    • Accepted methods: credit card, ACH, or mailed check (through QuickBooks processing).

    • Late payments may delay future work.

    • Please include clear written instructions with every job envelope.

    • For questions, contact me directly at jeff@crownforged.com or (440) 213-5047.

    • Text/email images are welcome for evaluation purposes, but no prices are guaranteed until I inspect the piece in hand.

    • If a job does not meet the agreed instructions, I will correct or adjust the work at no additional charge.

    • If changes are requested beyond the original instructions, additional charges will apply.

    • Crown Forged is not responsible for pre-existing issues, undisclosed damage, or normal wear and tear.

    • All work is performed to high industry standards, but inherent risks (such as stone vulnerabilities) must be accepted by the Jewelry Store and its customer.

Thank you for trusting Crown Forged — my goal is to handle every piece with care and make our partnership reliable and professional
